FAN Detroit

Prescription drug abuse is the fastest-growing drug problem facing our Nation today. For the first time in our history, the number of overdoses has surpassed automobile fatalities. While today's drug addiction respects no geographic, ethnic, economic or social boundaries, there are some groups — young people, our military, and the elderly — who are particularly vulnerable.

Face Addiction Now (FAN) Detroit provides crucial support for the community dealing with substance use disorder. We raise awareness, reduce stigma, offer education, and provide support groups and referrals for treatment.

MISSION:
To compassionately assist individuals and families affected by substance use disorder.

VISION:
Healthy communities that view addiction as a disease and treat those who suffer from it with respect and compassion.

Join Us For A Meeting

We host monthly forums to educate our community on trends related to substance use disorder (SUD), recovery, how to navigate SUD as a family, and more.

FAN Forums are the one place where individuals who are actively struggling with substance use, those in recovery, and family members can all come together and experience community.

These forums are designed to unite families and communities in the fight against substance use while providing a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals can come together to share experiences, gain insights, and find hope.
