DETROIT— Thursday at 4 p.m., The Detroit Association of Black Organizations, along with several other organizations, are protesting the devastating financial impact the Livernois construction project is having on businesses in the Avenue Fashion Shopping District. This action is calling on the city of Detroit to provide grant funding to help businesses in the Seven Mile and Livernois area survive for the duration of the construction project.
