Food Donation Day
Free food for our community twice a month. First come, first served until we run out.
Feeding Detroit families
Good food, shared with neighbors
Every month, DABO Detroit and our volunteers give out free food to families across the community. On the first Saturday we share fresh produce and a free cooked breakfast at The Wake Up Call, and on the fourth Friday we give out meat, dairy, produce, dry goods, water, and some extras when available.
Food is given out first come, first served until we run out.
Monthly schedule
Two days every month
Fourth Friday start times depend on when our food truck delivery arrives each month, so they can change from month to month. Each month's time is posted on that month's flyer. The only time the dates change is November and December, because of the holidays. See the holiday schedule below.
First Saturday
Fresh produce
Come to The Wake Up Call and stay for the show. Fresh produce is given out from 10 to 10:30am to those who stay, and it goes fast. You also get a free cooked breakfast.
Fourth Friday
Full distribution
Meat, dairy, produce, dry goods, water, and some extras if available.
Holiday schedule
November and December
Our dates shift during the holidays. Here's what to know this year.
